I hadn't been up the hill since I got rid of my house more than 10 years ago. Rings, burger, ribs, everything was still so yummy. It's a true sports bar.

Decent prices on great beer selection. Food is good enough to eat. Longtime staff who are familiar.

It's a bit old school. You can tell the locals have their own seats. Friendly staff. Ticket time for our food was about fifteen minutes. OK if you like that dive bar atmosphere. Lots of "characters to watch.

What can I say? I love this place! Good people. Good eats. And a very welcoming atmosphere! It's a sports bar so.... always a good time to be had. Two great food options that I absolutely love are the fish and chips and Philly steak sandwich. I have had no better anywhere that I can think of.

For sports bars in Big Bear - this is the best if not pretty much only one to consider. Dozens of TV's, big game room for kids and adults with shuffleboard and pool tables as well as the normal stuff. Occasionally they're understaffed and service can be slow, but in general great place.

If you have a family! This is the place! Food excellent. Tons of arcade activities.

This place has the best looking food and a cool vibe but they just can't pull everything together.Ribs, burnt. Good and tender, but really burnt... and I'm talking like 4 full racks. The salad with 1/2 head of iceberg bacon and blue cheese is good...but duh, come on... what's not good with bacon and blue cheese?!Fish n chips are where i was most disappointed... they spoke so highly of them but when i got them, there was only batter on the top, so deep frying dried out the fish like a dog treat...not a drop of moisture...soooo dry i needed water with each bite. I tried each piece, same story. I gave it to my dog.The sweet potato fries were good but got cold so fast, i couldn't enjoy them all.

Great food and drink. We visit multiple times on every visit to Big Bear to catch games. They have pin ball, pool, and plenty of other games to play at halftime. The staff is so friendly and fantastic, can't wait to get back there.

This site is my first choice restaurant. Of all restaurants I know I prefere it most. I always suggests to my friends to go to visit this place. Whenever I want to go to a delicious lunch, this place comes immediately to my head. best and diverse food and a rich cuisine.professional crew, and agreeable mood. In addition to that, the cost is modest. I praise this place with no hesitation.

Nice mountain sports bar centrally located in town. Lots of TVs, great food and friendly staff.

Waited 25 minutes and nobody came over to take our drink order. I had to go get our own menus. Nobody even looked at us. We walked out and I don't think they even noticed. We won't be back!

Laid back atmosphere with a plethora of tv's and great service! Will come back again!

Food took l Ionger than it should have. When I got my meal it was good, still worth visiting.

Came in because a friend recomended the fish and chips. I'm from out of town and just came in to get some food to go and a drink while I waited. Great place for a stranger to feel welcome quickly and yes, those fish and chips and the cob salad were amazing! I'll be back tomorrow!

Sandy's is the absolute best! I was in Big Bear for a getaway weekend, but needed a spot to watch multiple NWSL matches. Unfortunately, the games could only be watched through an app that wasn't working on my phone, so Paul let me use his phone to cast onto the big screen for the entire 90+ minutes! One of the matches was postponed to the following morning, and while Paul wasn't there to help with casting onto the TV, Brian was more than happy to set me up in a corner of the main bar area near an outlet so I could watch the match on my laptop! They have an excellent variety of beers, a vast food menu (even breakfast!), and all the prices are very reasonable. Huge shout out to Paul for going truly above and beyond to ensure I could watch my games, to Brian for being the best bartender around and making me feel so welcome (even remembering my name!), and to Ashley for such great service despite my outbursts during the match.

Our “go to” place after a long flight from Dubai. Bartenders/Servers are fantastic. Great selection of beers and other cocktails. Food 5.0 👍. We are so ready to return, but is Brian and Paul ready for us? 😂

Good place to go and watch the football games on Sunday they have a ton of TVs. They can get a bit crowded but well worth it. Had breakfast and they have a great selection food on their menu. The service can be a little slow but that is expected when the place is busy, especially during the game. The servers are very friendly and I did have a breakfast burrito which was very good.

Good sport bar, for the mountains. Has a really divvy feel. The hotdogs wasnt that great. The burgers are way better.

Cool local sports bar lots of TVs and fun games for the kids

Ordered a vodka soda. Could not taste any vodka whatsoever & they charged $8! What a rip off. Go to Murray's for good drinks at reasonable prices... good food, too.

Plenty of items to choose from on the menu. Everyone at the table enjoyed their meal! That's what keeps us coming back.

This is such a great place to hangout with friends & family. The food and drinks are great. Happy Hour specials are excellent! Paul is the best. Thanks so much for a great experience. My family and I really enjoyed our time here. We hope to stop by when we visit Big Bear again :)

Came here after a long day of snowboarding at bear mountain and was happy to come in to this place and grab the Betty IPA from their extensive tap list. A gentleman with glasses and gray hair was my bartender and he was attentive and kind as one could be. The place also has 2 pool tables, 1 huge shuffle board table (I mean yuuge) and many pin ball machines. The bar is massive - I came on a Saturday night and it still seemed relaxed and enjoyable. Great place to unwind.Also try their wings!! Some of the best I’ve had.

I come here to play Pinball. Best Pinball tables around. So much fun!!

Great service and food. Love Sandy's Fish and Chips with homemade cocktail sauce. Our server Paul was delightful. This is a great spot even if you have kids. Large selection of entrees and a wonderful game room. Happy we discovered this place.

Good food..local favorite....fish tacos are the best

We actually came to play pinball but had dinner there as well. The dinner was underwhelming as my burger was cold and my son's pasta was very bland. The waiter was nice and the multiple TV's helped. They have a nice arcade which we enjoyed. The pinball selection was good but a few of the machines didn't work. Go for the arcade and sports but skip the grub.

Appears to be the only sports bar in Big Bear. And it is fabulous! On on of the busiest have days off the year, opening season Sunday for NFL, the crowd was not overwhelming. TVs are plentiful, and lots of beer in tap. Food was on point, was better than your typical bar food, the fried goods were crispy and not soggy, much better then was expecting! Would definitely eat here again, and their large glasses, 32oz are very reasonable priced. Definitely more of a local crowd than a tourist crowd, unlike the brewery! Fish and chips were over of the better ones I've had, definitely recommended, add sweet potato fries, you will have no regrets!

Check out Sandy's the locals bar. This is the perfect place to catch any of your must see sports games and become part of the action with March Madeness fun and the baseball hot dog team tour, where there are 19 different hot dawgs all different and themed after a team. The Phillies team hotdog has pool pastrami, where as the Astros team got dog has mangos and a tropical feel. After completing eating all the dogs they give you a commemorative t shirt for your valiant efforts. The place even has pool by the hour and classic pin ball machines. Did someone say shuffleboard? YES!!!!!!

Clean establishment and love how they have 5+ TVs of different sports playing at the same time. Staff is friendly. Chicken fried steak was delicious!
